Goals of Academic Unit

Provide opportunities for qualified students to become professional engineers and technicians of the country. Specifically, the engineering programs are designed to:

Acquire full understanding of the scientific principles and knowledge of the particular field;
Develop a high level of competence in its engineering methods and applications;
Communicate effectively and succinctly important result of any technical study both verbally and technically;
Nurture the desire for continuing professional growth and explore new horizons in technology; and,
Imbue the graduates with socially and morally sound motivations and principles to live by.

Objectives and Outcomes

The objectives of the Department of Electronics Engineering and Technology is to prepare students to:

Have acquired technical and managerial skills to work diverse groups in designing, developing and implementing electronic systems in the major sub-fields of communications, computers and control;
Adopt competency-based training, research and development as means to pursue independent and life-long learning;
Be responsibly conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner; and

Pursue leadership in addressing environmental protection and cultural preservation as integral part of the service to and development of the community and country.
